A little reminder

As we are starting to really have success, I thought it might be important to go back and look again at what our pre-season goals were. A lot of them are now being achieved due to hard work and sacrifice on the part of some really stellar individuals on our team.

I just hope we continue to work hard, and roll with whatever punches are thrown our way, and continue to succeed. As we succeed more and more, we are either going to be a good example that people will respect, or a bad example that people are going to hate.

I want it to be the first option, and if we all keep doing what we are doing, it will be.

Thanks for being such an awesome team, everyone.

I agree completely. Even just cruising bike forums online and stuff people are talking about the teamwork and organization we have all be employing. Not to mention, like you said Matt, that the post Cat 4 celebration I think left everyone else a little jealous at our level of camaraderie.

Time for a LG booth and a LG sign up form to get the newo or unattached riders as part of the tean.

I'm not a fan of formerly recruiting new La Grange members at the 4/5 level. How we've built the 4/5 team and our La Grange spirit over the last 2 years has been an extremely organic process...one which I think creates deeper bonds amongst us. The biggest cheers at LA Circuit were actually for one of the newest La Grangers, Bruce the 340 pound Hungarian, who solo'd the entire race into that punishing wind. Bruce's infectious enthusiam for cycling has got him such huge support from our team in a very short time, and we've got another La Granger for life. A very natural process worth appreciating.
